If you are a DiGi customer, you'd be happy to know that DiGi now offers Twitter SMS services for its customer at RM1 for a week. From what I can understand, every tweet sent will be charged RM0.10, while data services for receiving tweets will be charged separately. The service is made available for both postpaid and prepaid customers and it is expected to push DiGi's revenue in data service to be higher. DiGi currently has a small market share in the Data/Broadband service due to its limited coverage.

TM promotes iTalk Whoa
TM today announced a new product known as the iTalk Whoa which is said to enable users of the internet to stay connected with friends using several social networking sites without the hassle of login in to them. According to Jeremy Kung, this new portal enables users to have a single platform for their social networking site, and hence allowing them to organize their social networks.
The iTalk Whoa is also said to cover 79 countries while at the same time offering very competitive rates for international calls.
