DiGi Opens Online Store

DiGi has introduced its own online store this week with them offering a few mid range and high-end mobile phones and also their prepaid sim packs for both DiGi Prepaid Broadband, and DiGi Prepaid Mobile.  According to the FAQ, prices of items in this online store is said to be competitive and DiGi claims that the online store enhances convenience with quick buy concept which means that customers whom intend to purchase items from the online store can do so without registering themselves.  Apart from that, DiGi has also committed itself to providing Free Delivery Services for customers with the choice of delivery date.
To avoid problem sending the items purchased via postal, DiGi has elected GDEX as their official courier and I believe this is a smart move since Pos Laju and several other courier services have been very relunctant to be liable of such an item, most notably mobile phones.  Payment online can be done by Malaysia's largest banks namely CIMB Bank and Maybank, while purchase using credit card via Pay Pal is also acceptable.

With very competitive prizes, I hugely believe that DiGi's online store will soon feature more products, and will be as successful as Apple's Online Store.  I am looking forward for more items to come, and I am very sure DiGi's move will soon trigger some sort of reaction from other telco's in the country.  More details on this online store can be found here.
