Facebook has redesigned their
safety center by introducing new elements such as safety for educator, safety for teens, safety for parents and safety for law enforcers in an effort to help stop abuse and misuse of the hugely popular website. The new safety center provides better guidelines and shows steps on how users can help protect their privacy online, hence directly helping in protecting their child and themselves, and the community as a whole from being prey to cyber bullying and other online bad acts.
Facebook currently boast over 400million users worldwide and is the biggest social networking site known to man at the moment. It is greatly hoped that the introduction of such safety measures will decrease such bad acts as stopping them immediately is close to impossible.
